Bank transfers at Ezz

The banking rail is the slowest in the cashier and produces the best documentation of any of them. Every movement is written into a statement with a value date, a description and an order identifier, which makes it the most comfortable option for amounts somebody might later have to explain. This file walks the places where the process actually jams. Other rails are on the payments page.

The description code does the matching

A transfer lands in a collection account shared by many players. What distinguishes one deposit from another is the description code the cashier displays, which has to be copied into the reference field of the banking order. Without it, the money arrives and sits unallocated until somebody matches it by hand from the sender's name. It is the single most common reason a deposit takes days instead of hours.

The destination IBAN should be copied fresh from the cashier every time. Saving it as a regular payee works right up until the operator changes collection account — and at that point the money goes somewhere nobody is reconciling.

The calendar sets the timing

SEPA moves in business days. An order submitted late on a Friday enters the circuit on Monday, and a public holiday in either country adds another day. None of this depends on the operator and none of it responds to chasing. Counting in business days rather than calendar days removes most of the disappointment built into this rail.

Matching names

The account sending the transfer must be held by whoever opened the gaming account, and so must the account receiving the payout. Joint accounts are usually accepted where the holder appears; third-party accounts, including close family, are not. Nothing about this is checked in real time on the way in — the mismatch arrives all at once at the first withdrawal request, as described in the withdrawal file.

One document, three requirements

Unlike rails with an intermediary, the evidence here is immediate and complete. A bank statement shows sender, beneficiary, amount, value date and order identifier. That single document can prove the deposit, evidence the payment instrument at verification, and — when issued within the last three months, with the name and address legible — serve as proof of address as well. Three requirements closed by one file is unusual, and worth exploiting deliberately.

Why payouts bounce

  1. A PT50 IBAN is registered in the cashier in the account holder's name.
  2. The request passes the operator's financial review.
  3. The order enters the SEPA circuit and takes one to three business days to become available.

Returns almost always come from one of three causes: a mistyped IBAN character, a beneficiary name that does not match the destination account, or an account closed since it was registered. In every case the money comes back to the balance, carrying the delay of the full round trip plus the delay of the second attempt.
